It been horrible lately.. so many quizzes, report and presentations to be doen each week, but THANKFULLY its over.

Just had FASC presentation today, and im felt pretty bad today after the presentation. I failed as the leader for this project. As i did not include the specifications of the B777, including its max speed, max take off weight, landing weight, and did not go into specifics of the B777 instead just went in general. Oh man, i feel so disppointed in myself now.

Thats it...

and so its sunday. and monday in 2 hours time. unleashing the internal beast fury for the week again. argh.. =.="

Just managed to complete studying PINS until 2.2 what a relieve that i can complete it with a day of intensive revision. Slogged my guts last night until early this morning 3am+ to finish my report and woke up in the morning only to realize that i have typed in the wrong info.

since its sunday i went out in the morning for breakfast and thereafter went to dynasty's travel agency to enquire a a tour to Beijing, China. Which most probably would be going as my grandparents and uncles are interested and i too wana scale the great wall.

and when i left the travel agency i think my eye was twisted or smth that i didnt realise there was $7 next to my foot and my sister picked it up...!!! worst still to make fun of me i found 5 CETNS !!!! at the foot of my elevator when i got home..

imagine 5 cents vs $7... WTH !@#$%%^&*

so much happened during the week that i have no time to blog. Seriously if any of you were to have a mindset to catch harry potter in the cinemas, i would advise you not to watch it. Not that im anti harry potter its jus that, this story line is really horrid and not worth watching. Not only myself but others were also cursing and swearing after the show..

and ohyes this is what i saw in the guys toilet at cineleisure yesterday. i was laughing the crap out of it. Its actually Borat in his brand new movie. Bruno..

i think my grandparents were quite angry about yesterdays incident when we met them for breakfast this morning. they could not accept the fact that my cousin dated an mixed blood eurasian guy. cultural shock i guess.

went to NSRCC's country club today for my usual GSS (gym, swim, sauna) session.
as i just left home, walking to the mrt station to catch a train down. being so deep in thoughts thinking and munching my breakfast i forgot to watch the steps.

AND fell down the flight of stairs. sprained my ankle, bruised my knee caps and palms.

arrived at the gym, despite my injury i just told myself for the sake of the "someone" i just had to train harder and ran 5km straight with the injured knee and ankle. gritting my teeth as the pain haunts me during the run. did my usal biceps curl, bench press after the run etc.

and man i think i have to say this but i hate the malay instructor in the gym, he acts like he's the boss when theres no one around. and the worst thing is, he takes advantage of his teenage girls/young adult girls whom he coaches, by providing massage after each session. cant stand the sight of it.

went orchard thereafter to meet my mum, whom went there for hair spa. roamed around for 3 hours while waiting for her to get it done. nothing much to see as i was in orchard for a few times this week. still hesistating if i should get a new urban male shirt...?

sent my ipod for servicing as well to have a check on the battery if its malfunctioning.

well the day just ended like that. what a day !!

had a fun day out with my friends : brendan, daryl, zhi han, wei quan and ernest. nothing beats their company during the holidays. Our first meet up during the holidays after the exams. Went to the It fair to shop for our own stuffs and to sentosa for dinner.

Met up with brendan and went to Suntec's Mac for lunch and daryl came minutes later.

okay this was what daryl wrote at his blog which i find it damn hilarious : "I met with Jia Wen and Brendan 1st for lunch at Mac, the "couple" are hilarious at times, bickering over the most minor things." he consider us the couple. HAHA. but true la, we bicker over the minor things we ever came across. haha

met ernest, zhi han and wei quan later part at the pc show. we splitted up to search and buy our stuffs. So i went to look up all my friends who were working in the show, Kerenia, Er Fang etc

With brendan buying the most stuffs, a portable hard-disk, speakers, mobile charger, inks and me buying the least a handphone casing at half-price.

Headed down to Sentosa after that. Thanks to brendan and his great plan of taking cable car we walked ard the entire harbourfront searching for the cable car tower and alas we found it. AND the price was beautiful too $21 bucks !!!

Brought my friends to Shangri-la Rasa Sentosa hotel to have international buffet dinner at the Silver Shell Cafe. The found was amazingly good. The lamb chops, beef steaks, chicken steaks, mussels with white wine sauce, tiger prawns, kebabs, salmons FANTASTIC !! thankfully i made bookings else we had to leave as it was full house. We ate and lost track of time till the restaurant closes and we are the only ones remaining. Walked along the beach to sentosa express and realised the sentosa expressed had actually cloesd for the day. Luckily i managed to find a bus that took us to mainland Singapore.

Quite a fun and tired day.

went out shopping with kerenia today. supposed to watch movie but we didnt and ended shopping wildly !! haha

i couldnt recognise her when we met up la !! damn embarassing of me. she totally changed alot. Looking so much better now.

started off by going wisma for shopping. bought my G2000 shirt. walked ard.. blah blah. went to paragon where kerenia wanted to get a Burberry wallet after deciding between coach. Went to Marks and Spencers to buy some tibits.

Went down to heeren next and spent the next 3 hours there shopping.
Quite a bad day for her la. haha. wanted to buy 2 bikinis but all no size or no stock. wanted to get a fourskin top but last piece left. board shorts also last piece left. but she got some accesories at fourskin while i got a top.

went to pasta de wakaru for dinner.. continued shopping after that
her luck changed at converse where she managed to get her shoe thats shes been eyeing all along. and a dress from GAP.

okay its 1220am and i cant slp. going to pc show tml.

went out shopping with my toki boy on saturday.

Headed to NSRCC (national service resort country club) in the morning first for my weekly gym and swimming session. went to the sauna and jacuzzi occasionally.

trained down to somerset after that and went to heeren for some shopping. bought some clothes from :

i was attracted by nums college vintage edition tempted to get the original shirt from harvard. but its like so tight at the neck.
looks like all harvard students have small necks. i can hardly break or put my head through the neck hole, the hole is damn small.

toki bought Louisville university's tee which apprently is where kevin garnett his idol came from.

going back to orchard for more GSS bargains !! have not bought my white formal shirt yet and a couple more t-shirts or bottoms.

so, finally all the papers are done !!

bus-ed down to Pasir Ris e!hub for wei quan birthday. had "just acia" for lunch, followed by bowling and i declare i sucked at it, and dinner at fish and co EXPRESS.

Its Saturday and i had my marketing term test today. Thank god it was a breeze. i could answer all the questions without much difficulty.

Trained down to Orchard and walked to Orchard Hotel after that to attend the "Study in Australia Open House"

Went to all the universities that mainly offers Aerospace Degrees of the vast number of schools i have managed to picked a few namely
1st choice : Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology
2nd choice: University of Queensland
3rd Choice : University of New South Wales

while meeting the individual respectives of the university they told me i was over qualified and would guranteed a place in their university with my current GPA of 3.7 as their minimum require is 2.8( thats really low ) Cus Singapore is like minimum 3.7 ?

Alot of girls esp from poly are seen flocking to Australia to study instead of London. Went for the london university open house earlier on this year and its was filled with JC students rather then poly.

i saw the Vice principle of the school and a lecturer from my school when i was there. Both of them were sending their kids to University of Queensland to take up a major in Science. Which by the looks of it is the in thing and practically everyone is taking that.

studying maddness

Its really studying maddness these few days.

I got stressed out studying FASC although its my favourite Physics, but this is way to hard to understand its concepts and so damn stressful. A lot of funny concepts.
Like on a level ground the force is supposed to be mg-uNmg=ma, which is so hard to derive on the paper that i short cut it as F=uNmg. Any kind souls willingly it to explain the concept to me ?

Thankfully PINS and RFNS wasnt that difficult to understand. However the tough part ofr pins is the gyroscope.

Well, i got back my quiz marks last week, and im NOT SATISFIED with it here are the marks.
Radio Fundaments and Navigation Systems : 34/40
Fundamentals of Aeronautical Science : 40/50
Propulsion and Instrument Systems : 94/100

Leaking Aircon

My aircon has been leaking the entire night and it caused chaos in the morning !!

Before i went to bed i placed a big cloth to absorb the leaking water.
The next morning ? Guess what ? the cloth was completely soaked with water.
And all the poster on my wall including those framed ones are all wet and destroyed.
I pity my Mr Men' poster being destroyed which i still kept it for many years, when i received it from England after winning a lucky draw.

Spent the half the day servicing the aircon hoping it would last until the new one arrives.

horrible lectures

i think im starting to hate PINS lessons.
Nothing to do with the tutor or lectuer, but the topic is really brain wrecking.
Spent the past few lectuers sitting there in daze trying to catch more about the topic on gyroscopes which aparrently i caught nothing. bloody crappy.

its starting to give me the mood swings when i was studying for it. Being tied down with fatigueness and trying to absorb at the same time is a serial killer, esp when the chapter is so difficult and confusing.

Slammed the table to vent my anger as a conclusion.

Im really starting to feel very frustrated nowadays due to several reasons.

1. Orgcom is driving me crazy (my poor english + xxxxx factors)
2. Venkata teaching is horrible, and he terrorises everyone in the lecture with all his solutions and even accussed us of stealing 2 of his thumbdrive (who would steal a cheapo thumbdrive ?!?!)
3. PINS. I have no idea what philip low is teaching on gyroscopes for the past few lectures.
4. Not enough sleep recently
5. Havent been training hard enough.
6. Lost momentum in my studies (is my flame burning out ?)
7. Have been dropping alot of hair recently.


The only lesson which makes me stress free is PHILIP'S SEOW Marketing tutorial and lectures.
you'll never feel bored entering his class. Thats the difference between a Business school lecturer and a Engineering School Lecturer.

They talk differently, one talks about life and the other talks based on facts and results.

had a rough day today.

Was supposed to go out with Kerenia today for some asics ware-house sales to get her shoes. But she called me in the morning and told me it has ended the day before. Wasnt really thinking much on what to say to her as im still on bed, was woken up by her phone call.

We didnt go out in the end. I was also hoping to tell her to cancel as im having flu. * AND PLEASE, its not SWINE FLU * damn its really irritating my nose keeps running non-stop aww its horrible. thank god, we didnt go out otherwise i would really feel bad if i were to spread my germs to her.

Went to orchard with my parents today instead. My mum feels like as though its fathers day. Cus my dad is the one shopping for clothes not her. HAHA.

after 3 weeks or so..

3 weeks passed ever sinced school reopen. now im taking 3 examinable modules and 1 cds.

Assignments were all issued to us this week or so. So its like we have to research on the Pitot Static tubes of an aircraft for PINs. To do a presentation on the Flight Controls of the Boeing 777-300ER.

Adventure club yesterday was quite fun. haha. met new friends like, Marieta, Mizza, able, jun hao, renford and JOSSY(joscelyn).

i think joscelyn has quite an unique name, hardly come across any jocelynS with that spelling haha.

i think wei quan and jervyn makes good comedians you'll someone like die of laughter just by looking at it.

Its been quite a while

It been quite a while since i last update the blog's entry. Completed LTT about a week ago. Kindof kinky, dont really know how will i fare. But the CAAS exams felt easier as the questions seems more straight foward.

Didnt really go out much during the one week of holiday. Was supposed to buy new clothes for the new semester but in the end i bought nothing !! Ohmy.

I was shocked and listless on thursday as i discovered that we were seperated from the rest in this semester. Kinda sad =( dont even know how is the new class like.

Went cycling at east coast yesterday, damn it felt GREAT its been quite a while since i cycled such a long distance. Ate Katong Laksa for dinner and headed to the airport MAC's to chill after the long day.

OHH and we went St James yesterday at like 8pm and it was really quiet as we were the only ones there, but the party seems livelier at the other side(dragonfly) when brendan and i sneaked in. HAHA.

Theory lessons are always boring to the extend that i tend to fall asleep often during lessons.
Heading to Singapore Expo later to visit the NATAS travel. Maybe heading to Australia this June Holidays.

1 month more to go before the EASA and CAAS exams. Gotta really study hard. Cant afford to fail this !!!!

The remaining 2 weeks of the months is really stressful.
Have to hand in internship reports and log book reflections.
Practically have to keep on doing and type every night ;(

While others are studying for their exams. Im still having internship haha.

Recently just applied for Singapore Airlines Scholarship. Lets just hope that i will be able to get through it and study in England.

wana escape Singapore for the time being. It seams that the Singaporeans that are living abroad are far more courteous then those living here.
Like for instance i met a few Singaporean expats in LA, Australia, Japan. It turns out that they appear mroe coureous. For some reason ?!

I dont know if its my healthy or my mental stress level that is bothering me and preventing me from doing proper gym workouts.
It seems to me that i have just lost my strength and ability to lift the weights and excercise that i would normally do.

Went to Liang Court today.
There were so many new resturants and filled with Japanese people.

Saw some of the stuffs that i bought in Japan selling in the Japanese supermarket. at about 3X the price at least.

Nothing spectacular there except the eating outlets and the supermarket.

The monster LTT, Lufthansa Technical Training is taking a toll of out of me. Its darn stressful. Have to write reflections everyweek and worst of all write a report !!

Come to think of it. Err.. i think i lost the guide sheet for writing the report.

Just had a short surpirse quiz session on friday.
OMG man. i broke out in cold sweat when i saw the questions.
i was literally lsot searching for the answer and ended up gotting 60%(failed)
and vison got full marks !@#$%^$
